A hardcore music junkie, the daughter of a record store owner grew up singing Latin hymns in a choir. In her youth, she immersed herself in a variety of musical instruments and studied classics, the likes of - Jules Verne, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Edgar Allan Poe.

Today, her journey has led to a diverse career with roots in post-production. Kaz has taken her strengths from the editing suite into the field as a versatile director; with award-winning multidisciplinary projects - promos, commercials, documentaries, and multicam concert recordings featuring international artists like Norah Jones, Ricky Martin, Kasabian, Mikky Ekko, Guy Sebastian, James Morrison, Placebo etc – Kaz's works are one woman’s creative stronghold in a male-dominated milieu. Her commercial clients include: Hennessy, Cadillac, and CocaCola. 

Away from commercials, Kaz is an avid filmmaker. Her projects have competed at the Warsaw & Toronto International Film Festivals. She was also part of TIFF's Talent Lab Program. Three of her films screened at Japan's Sapporo Short Fest where she was nominated for a Filmmaker's Award. Collectively, her shorts and screenplays participated in over 30 festivals. She holds the dream of bridging East and West with her unique visions fusing fact, fiction, and fantasy.

In June 2021, her first solo 3D project SHIRO was in official selection at Tokyo Short Shorts. Following that, a render for its sequel won the grand prize for AMD's animation contest. Kaz is now learning Unreal Engine 5 as the industry begins moving to a new era for filmmaking via virtual production processes. She has also been experimenting with AI creation flows, and studying opportunities for film in Web3, especially for alternative funding methods with NFTs. Kaz was part of VISA International's NFT Creator Program which was announced in Spring 2023.
